One evening, my friend and I were playing near an old house in our village. People said the house was empty and strange sounds came from it at night.
Suddenly, we heard a loud noise from inside. We were scared but curious. Slowly, we opened the door and walked in. The windows were broken, and everything was dusty. Then we heard the sound again! We followed it and found a small puppy trapped under a chair.
We quickly helped the puppy and took it outside. It stopped making noise and wagged its tail happily. We were no longer scared. Instead, we felt proud of helping the little animal.
Brave Act
One rainy afternoon, I was returning home from school with my younger brother. The roads were wet, and there was water everywhere after the heavy rain. The sky was dark, and it was still drizzling lightly.
As we were walking, we saw a small child crying near a drain. His foot had slipped, and he was unable to get up. The water was flowing fast, and he looked very scared. I quickly held his hand and pulled him away from the edge while my brother called for help.
Soon, some people came and helped the child. He thanked us with a smile. I felt happy and proud that I could help someone in danger. It was a day I will always remember.
