NIGHT CAMP GRADE 7
Game: 1
Resonating Voices
Theme: Resonate with Focus, Rise with Voice
How to Play:
-
The first student starts counting aloud from 1.
-
Each student continues the next number in sequence (2, 3, 4…).
-
BUT — when a number is a multiple of 3 (like 3, 6, 9...), instead of saying the number:
-
The student must perform a quick action that points in any direction (left, right, up, down, or a creative pose).
-
At the same time, they say the name of a book or a positive word (e.g., “Hope!” or “Harry Potter!”).
-
-
The next student must pick up with the next number (not repeating the skipped one).
-
If a student says the number instead of showing action, or hesitates too long (more than 3 seconds), they are gently reminded, and the game restarts or continues for fun.
Objective: To learn how to be a voice for others
How to Play:
-
One player from Team A comes forward, picks a chit without showing it to anyone.
-
They have 1 minute to act out the title/sentence without speaking or mouthing any words.
-
Their team guesses the word or phrase.
-
If guessed correctly within time, the team gets 1 point.
-
Then Team B and Team C take their turns similarly.
-
Continue for 2–3 rounds per team.
Game Name: Story Sparks: Rise With Every Line
Theme Link:
This game reflects how ideas resonate from one person to another, how creativity rises with each contribution, and how imagination radiates through teamwork.
Instructions:
-
Divide students into teams of 5–6.
-
One team stands in front of the group. The teacher gives a story starter line like “It was a stormy night when...”
-
Each student, one after the other, adds one line to build the story spontaneously.
-
The story should flow logically and end in an interesting way.
-
Encourage expressions, voice modulation, and creativity!
-
Other teams clap at the end — appreciating how the story “rose” from a single idea.
