  Basic Good Cooking Habits: Wash your hands before and after handling food. Keep the kitchen clean — wipe surfaces and wash utensils after use. Read the recipe completely before starting. Gather all ingredients and tools before cooking. Measure accurately using proper measuring cups or spoons. Preheat the oven or stove if required before starting to cook. Cut carefully using a cutting board — always be safe with knives. Taste as you go to adjust seasoning. Clean as you cook — don't wait till the end. Be patient — don’t rush; good food takes time. BUT — when a number is a multiple of 3 (like 3, 6, 9...) , instead of saying the number: The student must perform a quick action that points in any direction (left, right, up, down, or a creative pose). DELHI: 12TH TO 15TH CENTURY

THE TOMARS AND CHAUHANS OF DELHI Tomar Dynasty (around 8th–12th century CE) The Tomars were Rajput rulers who founded the city of Delhi (earlier called Dhillika). Anangpal Tomar is believed to have built the city of Delhi in the 11th century. The Tomars made Delhi a strong and well-defended city . They controlled trade routes and collected taxes from traders passing through. Chauhan Dynasty (around 12th century CE) The Chauhans (also Rajputs) defeated the Tomars and took control of Delhi. Prithviraj Chauhan was the most famous ruler of this dynasty. He ruled from Delhi and Ajmer. He fought against Muhammad Ghori in the First and Second Battles of Tarain (1191 and 1192). He won the first battle but lost the second, after which the Delhi Sultanate began .
