Mother Teresa (India) – Dedicated her life to helping the poor, sick, and dying in Kolkata, India, through the Missionaries of Charity.
Mahatma Gandhi (India) – Led nonviolent movements for India’s independence and worked for social justice, inspiring millions.
Nelson Mandela (South Africa) – Spent 27 years in prison fighting against apartheid and later worked for peace and unity in South Africa.
Sindhutai Sapkal – Despite facing extreme hardships, she dedicated her entire life to raising and providing shelter to abandoned children.
Malala Yousafzai (Pakistan) – Advocates for girls’ education worldwide, despite surviving an assassination attempt by the Taliban.
Barack Obama- Barack Obama was the first African-American President of the United States. During his time as president, he helped improve healthcare for many people and worked to fix the economy after a big financial crisis called the Great Recession. He also won the Nobel Peace Prize for his efforts to reduce nuclear weapons and promote peace.
