Present Perfect
It expresses an action of the recent past which has some relevance in the present moment.
I have just eaten breakfast. (I don't need anything. )
She has already finished her homework. (She can go out now)
We have seen that movie. (I am not interested to come. )
He has eaten lunch already. (I don't want anything now)
I have lost my keys. (How can I go now?)
I have played Guitar since I was a child. (He knows how to play guitar now)
She has published a book. (She has to share her experience now)
I have been to Delhi. (I know what it's like.)
She has worked hard for her exam.(She is confident about the exam.)
We have played football. (We are tired now.)
They have seen the film. (They can discuss it.)
I have watched the movie.(I know the plot.)
Present Perfect Continuous
It is used to describe actions or situations that started in the past and continue into the present. Emphasize is given to the continuous nature of the action.
I have been waiting for you for an hour.
She has been studying all morning.
They have been working on this project since last month.
She has been studying English since she was a child.
She has been running marathons for the past five years.
He has been repairing the car since morning.
